How does the free trial work?

Create an account without a credit card. Your 7-day Pro trial starts when you first press Start on the timer, not when you sign up. Try multiple jobs, earnings history, and invoice drafts. There is no automatic subscription or charge.

What happens after seven days?

A subscription is required to start new tracking sessions. Your existing work history stays available to view and export. A session already saved as active can still be finished. There is no permanently free tracking plan.

Which plan is right for me?

Solo is $5/month for one active job. Pro is $9/month for multiple active jobs, with up to 1,000 saved jobs. If you move to Solo, your other jobs remain available as read-only history. Both plans include invoice and email drafts, CSV exports, and account saving. Subscribe from your account when you are ready. A paid subscription starts immediately and renews monthly until canceled; the trial never charges you automatically.

Where is my work saved?

Signed-in work is saved to your ClockFuel account, with a local recovery copy in your browser. Check for “Saved to your account” before switching devices. If a save fails, keep your browser data and use the recovery or backup options.

Can I use it on my phone?

Use ClockFuel in your phone or desktop browser and sign in to the same account. Start on your laptop, pause on your phone, and resume on either device. Open workspaces check for timer updates every few seconds while online. Both devices control one session, so time is counted once. Check the save status before switching devices.

Does it send invoices or collect client payments?

Yes. Create a time-based invoice from tracked work, or an itemized invoice for products, services, and fees. Edit and preview it before sending to your client or yourself. You can hide session start and stop times on time-based invoices. ClockFuel does not collect client payments.

Do I need to set a daily hours target?

No. Leave planned hours unset, set your rate, and press Start. Your earnings use actual time worked, and you can review your invoice before sending.

Will recaps send invoices to my clients automatically?

No. Scheduled earnings recaps go only to your account email. Choose daily, weekly, or monthly delivery in the app. Client invoices always need your Send click.

Can I keep a backup?

Yes. Export your workspace from the app to keep an extra copy of your clients, tasks, invoice drafts, and session history. Review tracked hours, dates, and invoice totals before billing clients.
